Split Happens Blog
Split happens, but I happen louder!

Welcome to Split Happens, where emotional chaos gets branded, breakdowns come with glitter, and vulnerability is louder than the mess. I’m Jennifer—writer, designer, strategist, and unapologetically emotionally spicy human.
I live in Texas with my wife Keisha (Keeper of the Calm), our five feral joy-gremlins (children), and four dogs, including Hera, the Chaos Control Canine. Our house is equal parts circus and sanctuary, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What I Do (Besides Cry in the Fridge)
I write with raw honesty, snark, and emotional intelligence—turning spirals into strategy and punchlines into connection. My blog is a space for neurodivergent folks to feel seen, soothed, and slightly unhinged in the best way.
I’m also a branding nerd, content strategist, and visual designer. I build tag banks like emotional flowcharts, prototype apps that reflect meltdown-glam aesthetics, and design mascots that judge your coping mechanisms with quiet dignity.
Why I’m Loud About BPD
I live with Borderline Personality Disorder, and I’m not here to sugarcoat it. I’m here to name it, laugh at it, and build community around it.
Split Happens is my way of turning emotional intensity into impact—through storytelling, humor, and the occasional glitter meltdown. I believe in repair, in naming the chaos, and in making mental health advocacy feel like a punk rock group hug.
